NEEDLEWORK PATTERNS AND RECIPES FROM GODEY'S LADY'S BOOK &
OTHER 19th Century Magazines
Godey's Lady's Book was probably the most influential 19th century lady's magazine in the U.S. Aimed at the middle-class woman, rather than the
elite, Godeys featured fashions, informational articles, recipes, stories, music and crafts. These magazines contain a wealth of primary-source
information, which I hope to share with those who do not have easy access to copies.

NOTE: These are from originals in my personal collection. These images and patterns are made available for private use only. They are NOT to be
reproduced for profit.
