NEEDLEWORK LESSONS
If anyone is interested, I can offer the following needlework lessons and historical demos.

Homeschooling families are welcome to make appointments just to come out and see the
goats and historical demonstrations. From my museum background, I also have an
extensive collection of research sources on 19th Century women's and children's
costume, including some Civil War Era Godey's Lady's Books.

Fiber Arts- Carding and Spinning Thread on the Spinning Wheel or Drop Spindle

LESSONS
Embroidery: Backstitch, satin stitch, lazy daisy, French knot and other simple
stitches
Knitting: Basic knit and purl, along with stitch combinations
Crochet: Basic crochet with materials about filet crochet and Irish crochet
available
Traditional Shuttle Tatting  (Requires patience and practice.)
Basic Sewing
