Hood with Swansdown Border from February 1865: Instructions at Right.  No gauge is given, so you'll have to experiment.  Second pattern is below.

Hood from February 1866. This piece calls for a netted border, but a suitable border could probably also be crocheted.  NOTE: "Knitting Pins" are knitting needles. You'll have to experiment to find the right size and gauge.
