Persephone and Onyx Persephone is a farm collie that we bought as a herding dog. She's a good guardian, and will tree squirrels and raccoons, but she isn't interested in herding. Onyx is her daughter.

Freya and Athena Freya was a beautiful dog that we found in a culvert as a puppy. When we adopted Sarah, though, Freya was jealous of her and tried to nip her all the time, so Freya found a home with a retired couple.

Plato Asleep with Piddle, the Italian Greyhound. I would have loved to keep Piddle, but he was also a chicken-killer. He could easily snap several chickens' necks in a few minutes...killing up to 6 a day.

Simon - Foster Dog We almost kept this big sweetheart.

Athena and Plato ("Teen and Toe") Playing when they were young dogs. Athena "picked out" Toe at the Rescue and they were like a bonded pair.
"Jackson" I love poodles and thought a Standard Poodle would be perfect for us. Jackson, however, learned to kill chickens and chase the livestock for fun and could jump over a normal fence with no thought. He actually found a home with a local farmer. He rides around in the truck, helps HERD CATTLE and is generally a man's man dog.

"Claus" Spaniels are beautiful and I hoped Sarah could keep this little boy (pre-Charlie) but Claus, like many Spaniels, would BITE and he needed an adult home.
