Need a Grandma?  Here she is? The
pleasant-looking lady on the left is
wearing a black morning-cap. The lady
on the right has some interesting
ribbon loops hanging down from her
cap or head-dress.
This smiling young lady may be from
the 1850s. Notice how large her
over-sleeves are.
Four sisters or friends from the
American Civil War period.
Below: Three children in typical 1860s
dress.
Girl in a blouse and dark skirt.
Left:  Really interesting ambrotype
(photo printed on glass) of what may
be a minority woman. This photo was
found behind a much later photo in a
case.

Right: Woman in dark cape.

with fringe.
Really nice photo of a mother and her
baby in matching clothing.
Grandma is wearing a cape over her
very plain dress.
Here, Grandma is a little more
fashionable, with a lace collar and
white cap.
